PT VFS Services Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as VFS) is a Service Delivery Partner of the French Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this capacity, VFS will provide Applicants for French Visa general information via telephone and email  and facilitate appointment scheduling for visa applications at The French Embassy in Jakarta . VFS charges an Appointment fee which is applicable for arranging the appointment schedule for application submission at The French Embassy in Jakarta . All visa applications are assessed by the Visa Section of the French Embassy in Jakarta ; VFS does not handle any application documents.

VFS do hereby declare that they have no role whatsoever in the assessment of a visa application, which is the sole prerogative of the Visa Section of the French Embassy in Jakarta . Therefore, VFS will not in any manner be liable or responsible for any delay in the processing or rejection of any visa applications.

Due to unforeseen events and circumstances of Force Majeure, Force Majeure means any event or occurrence which is outside control of the Party concerned and which is not attributable to any act or failure to take preventive action by the Party concerned, but shall not include any industrial action occurring within VFS or any sub-contractor of VFS.

VFS shall not be responsible or liable for any consequential loss that may be caused to the Applicant due to absence of applicant on appointed date. It is expressly understood that when the Applicant or representative of the Applicant submits the passport and related documents along with the applicable visa fees to the French Embassy, the Applicant has understood the terms and conditions and details as mentioned herein. The appointment fees once paid by the Applicant to a designated Bank are not refundable under any circumstances, irrespective of whether or not the desired visa is granted by the French Embassy to the applicant.

VFS, in its sole discretion, may change, amend, cancel or withdraw any or all of the terms and conditions mentioned herein at any time without any prior notice. No employee of VFS has any authority whatsoever to change / amend / amplify or withdraw any or all of the terms and conditions mentioned herein without the prior written approval of VFS.  

These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia . Any claims or disputes arising in relation to the services provided by VFS to the applicant shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Indonesia .
